Creating an ISO image on Linux.

There is no need for softwares for this, just simple safe terminal commands.

  1. Insert the CD into the CD Drive
  2. Open Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)
  3. Run the following command: cat /dev/scd0 > /home/infrasound/test.iso
  4. Replace the “/home/infrasound” to the location you want the ISO to be created.
  5. Replace the “test” to the name of the ISO you want to create.
  6. It will take a while to complete.
